In the interests of embracing diversity and giving a not to the progressives and appeasement crowd, I’ve decided that it’s finally time for me to get on board the PC train.
There is a time-worn old axiom which goes something like, “Treat others as you would like to be treated,” also known as “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
So, in the interests of fairness, I’ve decided to treat Muslims just exactly like they treat Christians and Jews. I’m going to watch their culture, their teachings, listen to their Imams and read their writings on how to deal with and interact with Jews and Christians, and take my cue from such guidance as to how best to deal with and interact with my Islam brethren.
Wouldn’t that be the height of sensitivity and culture awareness? Learn from them. Let their culture guide me as to how best to deal with those not of my faith, yes?
So, the next time a Muslim makes a statement critical of my faith? I’m only hoping I can respond in the most ”culturally appropriate” way possible.
